Prof. Dr. Markus Keck
Project speaker
Markus is a geographer and holds the Chair for Urban Climate Resilience at the University of Augsburg’s Center for Climate Resilience. His research is about agri-food systems, urban infrastructure, and climate-induced conflicts. Markus’ regional expertise lies in India, Germany, Bangladesh, and Nepal, where he has conducted extensive field research applying a variety of
qualitative, quantitative, and participatory methods. As of his theoretical positioning, he feels at home in practice theory, political economy, and science & technology studies.
